So during today’s iPhone press conference that Apple used to address issues surrounding the antenna, it also gave us Canadian’s some piece of good news. The iPhone 4 will be available to us residence up North on July 30th. Now all we need is to know how much the phone will be going for and whether or not I will be able to upgrade or do I have to go straight to Apple to purchase?

As the announcement occurred a few friends and I (over twitter) started to inquire as to who wanted to get up early and stand in line. I’ve already committed to it but as long as the price is reasonable. If I can get it cheaper through an upgrade with Rogers, I will still go and stand in line just for the experience. I not only want to be a part of the hype but I’d also like to be there to experience what many have in the US.

So July 30th you’ll find me at one of the Apple store locations within the GTA most likely with a group of friends also looking to purchase the phone.
